Platinum Concerts International (PCI) is delighted to again present the internationally-renowned Kyiv Chamber Choir and Conductor Mykola Hobdych.
Their 2019 concert tour, entitled "The Sounds of Ukraine" includes 9 concerts in the United States and a concert in Toronto, Canada.
Our goal is to present great choral music - and specifically the 'hidden treasure' of Ukrainian choral music - to audiences across North America.
The impact of the Choir's performances and audience reactions at their concerts in 2016, '11, '09, '06 and '04, suggest this goal is starting to be achieved.
The Choir will appear in high quality musical venues in New York, Washington, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Cleveland, Hartford, Detroit, Rochester and Toronto this year.
The Kyiv Chamber Choir and PCI salute the generous support of the Choir's sponsors and concert tour patrons - this concert tour would not happen without them.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of our fellow members of Chorus America, as well as choirs, venues and community organizations in each city where the Choir's concerts will take place.
We also thank everyone who attends one of the Choir's concerts on this 2019 tour.
PCI is managed by Ernie McCullough (Chair, 2001 Chorus America Annual Conference and Elmer Iseler Singers board member) and Andrew Witer (CEO, Dotcom Recordings; former Member of Parliament; and active member of the Ukrainian community), with the assistance of our dedicated colleagues Oksana Komarnicky and Ihor Kowalsky.
PCI plans also reflect the contributions of experienced professionals and community leaders in each of our concert cities.
